CYPRIOT PROVISIONAL LICENCE

In order to start driving lessons you are first going to have to obtain a Cypriot provisional or learner licence, which is issued by the Department of Transport and lasts for 1 year.Before being issued with the licence you will be given a brief verbal test on the Cyprus highway code.

To qualify for this test application you must meet the folowing requirements: 

• Be at least 17.5 years old
• A resident of Cyprus for a minimum of 6 months
• Have a residents permit(Alien Book) & Pink Slip (waived for EU citizens)
• Have a valid passport
• Have photocopies of above relevant documents
  

On passing the verbal theory test,you need to provide 1 passport photo which wil be attached to your provisional licence.

The Provisional Test costs €5.13 & the Provisional Licence (valid for 1 year) costs €8.54
